Ever since the announcement from Asus of their new ION based Nettop PC, the Eeebox EB1501, those of us in the U.S. have all patiently waited for pricing and availability details to show up.
Although Asus has not officially announced pricing or availability yet, it appears some vendors are now listing the EeeBox EB1501 with pricing ranging from $480-550. See here for a list of vendor’s and pricing: http://www.google.com/products?q=eb1501&hl=en&aq=f.
None of these vendor’s seem to actually have the Eeebox EB1501 in stock – however a few mention that they order it directly from Asus after a customer places an order from them.
Is this a sign that the EeeBox EB1501 is soon to be released? Here’s to hoping so!
UPDATE: HotHardware.com is reporting an official release date of December 7th and a suggested retail price of $479. This is not confirmed on Asus’s website so not entirely sure where the information is coming from – but it’s definitely promising!
UPDATE 2: Provantage.com is now accepting pre-orders for the Asus EeeBox EB1501 for a low price of $454.55. Available in white or black.
